Mind Blowing

This is truly a worthy piece to add to one of the net's longest and most successful animation series of all time. I recall all the months back that you said this would be the last madness. Judging from where you ending this one, I'd say nay, that is not true. There are still some mystery's left and this just doesn't seem like the right conclusion to me. By far, this has to be your best piece ever made. Accompanied by probably the most kick-ass techno theme cheshyre has ever produced, and you've won yourself a fine cookie my friend.

Smooth

This animation is mind blowing. The animation is so fluid too! This is a great piece of work that should proudly stand by Krinkels own Madness series! Great work! However, I found that although the animation is smooth and fluid, it comes at the cost of being slower. Next time, try and speed up movement a little.

tomtyke responds:

wow, mindblowing you say, i almost felt my ego grow (not really :D)

but anyway, thanks for watching it! :D
and yea, that was a shame it ended up being slower, im going to up the frame rate on future projects to stop this

Most likely the greatest arcade port on the web

It's been over 6 years and I still can't get enough of Raiden X. The music, gameplay, all a blast of nostalgia and it goes to show you how great a game could be. However, as the years ween on, the game is starting to show it's age and it's begging for another remake to be made in all of it's former glory.
I felt that the gameplay was too easy throughout the entire game as you could easily power up your weapons to max and mow down all the enemies thrown at you. There is also a lag problem prevalent every once a while when the screen gets a but cluttered that leads to cheap deaths.
The music is one of the greatest examples of a quality game soundtrack I have ever heard. Catchy memorable tunes will plague for the rest of the week. Among my personal favorites is Stage 7's "Dread Battleship"'s main theme. I'm shocked that this amazing piece of work hasn't been recreated or remixed and submitted yet to this site. A complete shame that the soundtrack isn't up for download anywhere in a higher quality. I would buy it off itunes if it was up.
This game was a smash hit back in 2005, but it's lost some it's recognition since then. I WANT A REAL SEQUEL, NOW.

Great 8-bit game!

Plenty of nostalgia to go around along with some catchy music! And I could of sworn at one point I was playing Metroid......

Amazing

Yet brutally difficult. The only way I was able to solve some puzzles was by random amounts of clicking and by process of elimination. This, out of all the Riddle games has to be the hardest.

(SPOILER ALERT)
The Snoz problem was so hard to figure out that I just gave up and looked it up (and it's 51702 by the way).

And there are some moments in the game where it wasn't that blatantly obvious that you needed to click on certain things. For an example, getting the daisy took a while even though all you needed to was grab the one closest to you. I stumbled upon this by pure accident after getting frustrated with game a little and started to click randomly in places. After all, if the rest of the daisy's did nothing when you clicked them, why should that one particular one that doesn't look any different from the rest of them be special?

Same goes for the last room with the four puzzles. 2 of them where incredibly easy to figure out while the other two just involved you clicking randomly until you get it. This isn't the kind of puzzle i enjoy where you can just solve them with a series of lucky clicks.

I think in the future installments you should give people more clues or make some of the necessary objects stand out a little more in order to help make the game flow a little better instead of getting people stuck and frustrated on a single puzzle all while they zoom past other puzzles. There needs to be a balance,

JonBro responds:

I actually thought the Snoz puzzle was one of the better ones, but a lot of people seem to be having trouble with it. I'll take what you say into consideration. More clues for the puzzles, more balance in the difficulty. Thanks!

Amazing

It's been over 6 years now and this piece of music still bring nostalgia to my ears. However, as great as the main theme is, what people really want is Dread Battleship.

Amazing song...

A real catchy song that has a great medley and mind blowing vocals!
However, the vocals seem a little quiet on the side.

Amazing

The bottle effect you used created a very tranquil feeling. Simple, yet effective. It would be nice if you tried something like this again in the future.

EricFreeman responds:

Have you listened to my other music? I have a bunch of tranquil feeling stuff I think <_<

But hey, thanks for listening and liking the song! :D
